About Us
Africa Label Group (ALG) is a global professional organization established in 1999 with the mission to drive sustainable development and humanitarian assistance across the African continent. Our team comprises dedicated professionals and a diverse Board of Trustees composed of esteemed African and international personalities committed to creating lasting change. With our headquarters in Dakar, Senegal, and a network of offices spanning numerous African countries, as well as a branch in Madison, Wisconsin, USA, we are strategically positioned to effectively address the continent’s most pressing challenges.
What We Do
ALG is focused on creating a sustainable future for Africa by working across multiple sectors:
- Health and Nutrition: We support emergency response funding, capacity-building grants, and programmatic funding aimed at strengthening health systems and improving nutrition outcomes.
- Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH): Our WASH initiatives encompass infrastructure development, training programs, and emergency relief to ensure access to clean water and sanitation facilities.
- Education: We implement multi-year projects to support education, provide emergency assistance to schools in crisis situations, and develop educational infrastructure.
- Food Security and Livelihoods: Our programs promote agricultural development, provide emergency food aid, and build resilience to food insecurity.
- Climate Action and Environmental Sustainability: We implement climate resilience programs, sustainable development initiatives, and disaster risk reduction projects to address the impacts of climate change and protect the environment.
